Most memoirs take 12 to 15 months from first interview to published book, an estimated total of $36,000 to $45,000.
Start with Phase One: two interview calls and a finished first chapter for $1,000, credited toward your first month. Read the chapter, then decide whether to go on.
Includes recorded interviews, drafts and revisions in your voice, copy edit, cover design, print and ebook formatting, and publishing on Amazon.
Book coaching
You write. I coach you through it.
$1,000 a month
Most writers reach a finished manuscript in about 12 months. Then coaching moves into publishing and marketing at the same monthly rate.
Includes outline sessions, weekly one-on-one meetings, written feedback on every chapter, a developmental edit memo on the full draft, and guidance through publishing and launch.

A free 45-minute call. Tell me your story and what you want the book to do. I’ll tell you whether I’m the right fit.

Planning and interviews. We map the book together. For ghostwriting, I interview you chapter by chapter. For coaching, we build the outline and you start writing.

Drafts in your voice. Every chapter comes back to you. If a sentence doesn’t sound like you, it changes.

About Ben
I was 45 when I wrote my memoir during Covid. That project turned into a career co-writing and ghostwriting memoirs. Before that, I taught English in Namibia with the Peace Corps, coached professional basketball there, and made documentary films.
When you work with me, you work with me: one person who knows your story from the first interview to the finished book.
Questions
Will the book sound like me?
Yes. Each chapter starts from your own words in recorded interviews, and you review every draft. If a sentence doesn’t sound like you, we change it.
How much of my time does it take?
Ghostwriting takes ten to fifteen hours of interviews across the project, plus time to read drafts. Coaching takes a weekly meeting plus your own writing time.
Can I pause the project?
Yes. You can pause at the six-month mark or at 15 months.
Do you handle publishing?
